Terms of Service

1. Provider

Tigrister is operated by Mesut Yakut, a sole proprietorship registered in Istanbul, Turkey. Tigrister™ is a trademark of Mesut Yakut. References to "we", "us", "our" or "Tigrister" in these terms refer to this entity. References to "you" or "your" refer to the individual or legal entity accessing or using the Tigrister software.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, running, or otherwise using any Tigrister software — including Tigrister SE, Tigrister PRO, and the Tigrister CLI — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. By creating an account on our customer portal, you additionally agree to the account-related provisions below.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the software or create an account.

3. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use Tigrister or to purchase a Tigrister PRO license. By using the software or purchasing a license, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

4. Products and Editions

Tigrister is available in the following editions. All editions are proprietary software. None of the editions are open source.

  • Tigrister SE — a free edition with core features, including HTTP client, HTTP/3 & QUIC, GraphQL, WebSocket, Server-Sent Events, OAuth 2.0 flows, and limited project, module, and flow capabilities. No account or license key is required to use Tigrister SE.
  • Tigrister PRO — a paid edition that includes every feature of Tigrister SE and additionally unlocks advanced capabilities such as unlimited projects and modules, parallel flow execution, load and stress testing, mock server, Git integration, HashiCorp Vault integration, full scripting API, and flow/load export. Tigrister PRO requires a valid license obtained through a paid subscription.
  • Tigrister CLI — a free command-line companion for running flow and load test specifications in terminal/console environments and CI/CD pipelines. No account or license key is required to use the Tigrister CLI.

5. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Tigrister software.

Tigrister SE and Tigrister CLI are free forever for personal and commercial use. No account or license key is required.

Tigrister PRO requires a valid, active subscription. PRO licenses are available as Individual (single user) or Enterprise (per-seat, minimum 5 seats).

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the software
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the software
  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, lease, rent, or otherwise transfer the software or any license key
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, copyright marks, or license-related markings
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any license checks, activation mechanisms, or trial limits
  • Share, pool, or otherwise reuse license keys across unauthorized devices, machines, or users

6. Tigrister PRO Trial

Tigrister PRO offers a free trial of 30 days, during which you have access to all PRO features. No payment information or account is required to start a trial.

The trial is limited to one per machine, identified by a device fingerprint. Attempting to reset, circumvent, or extend a trial — whether by spoofing device identifiers, reinstalling on the same machine, or any other means — is a violation of these terms.

7. Accounts

A Tigrister account is only required to purchase a Tigrister PRO license and to manage it afterwards (for example, to add seats, cancel, or request a refund). Tigrister PRO itself is activated with the license key you receive after purchase — you do not need to be signed in to run Tigrister PRO. No account is required to use Tigrister SE, the Tigrister CLI, or to start a PRO trial.

To create an account you must provide a valid name, email address, and password (minimum 8 characters). We send a verification code to your email address and you must confirm it before your account becomes active.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use.

We may automatically suspend an account if it exceeds safety limits on email verification or password reset attempts, or if we detect patterns consistent with abuse. We may also suspend or terminate an account at our discretion for any violation of these terms.

Self-service account deletion is not currently available. To request account deletion, please contact us at [email protected].

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Tigrister PRO is offered through recurring subscriptions. Payments are processed by our third-party Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you also agree to the terms of service of our payment provider, which apply to the transaction processing in addition to these terms. Our payment provider is responsible for tax calculation, invoicing, and payment processing.

  • Individual Monthly is billed every month on the same day as your original purchase date.
  • Individual Yearly is billed once a year on the anniversary of your original purchase date.
  • Enterprise Yearly is billed once a year on a per-seat basis, with a minimum of 5 seats per organization.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless canceled.
  • Prices are displayed excluding tax. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout by our payment provider based on your location.

9. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Subscription page of your customer portal. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription is scheduled to end at the end of the current billing period.
  • You retain full access to Tigrister PRO until that date.
  • Your subscription will not renew for the next billing period.
  • Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any previous billing periods. See Section 10 for refunds.

10. Refund Policy

You may request a full refund of your Tigrister PRO purchase within 14 days of the purchase date, directly from the Subscription page of your customer portal. No explanation is required. See our full Refund Policy page for a standalone copy.

All payments and refunds are processed by our third-party Merchant of Record. Their refund policy applies to the actual transaction processing in addition to the terms set out on this page.

When you submit a refund request:

  • Your Tigrister PRO subscription is canceled immediately and will not renew.
  • Your license is revoked immediately and can no longer be used to run Tigrister PRO.
  • For enterprise subscriptions, the refund cancels the entire subscription and revokes every license assigned to your team members across the organization. The enterprise administrator is responsible for communicating this to the team before requesting a refund.
  • The refund is processed by our payment provider and the funds are returned to your original payment method.

Nothing in this policy limits any statutory refund or withdrawal rights that apply to you under consumer protection law.

11. License Keys and Device Binding

Each Tigrister PRO license can be active on only one device at a time. When you first activate a license on a machine, the license becomes bound to that device. A single device is not limited to one license — you may run multiple different licenses on the same machine if you own them.

You may move a license to a different device up to 3 times per calendar month. This limit is intended for legitimate needs such as hardware replacement, operating system reinstallation, or moving between personal machines. Sharing a license across multiple machines or users is not permitted and may result in suspension of the license and account without refund.

12. Enterprise Licenses

Enterprise subscriptions allow organizations to manage PRO licenses for their team members. The enterprise administrator can:

  • Assign and unassign licenses to team members by email
  • Add additional seats to an existing subscription
  • See which licenses have been assigned and which remain available, through the organization dashboard

Licenses can be reassigned during the subscription period. An enterprise administrator may unassign a license from one team member and assign it to another as the team changes.

Each assigned license permits one team member to use Tigrister PRO on one device at a time, subject to the same device-binding and transfer rules as individual licenses. The enterprise administrator is responsible for ensuring that all team members using assigned licenses comply with these terms.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Tigrister only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the software complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including any authorization requirements for the systems you interact with.

You may not:

  • Use Tigrister to access systems, networks, or data without proper authorization
  • Use Tigrister to conduct or facilitate denial-of-service attacks, load tests against third-party systems you do not own or control, or other malicious activities
  • Use Tigrister in violation of any law, regulation, or third-party terms of service
  • Use Tigrister to infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our customer portal or license server

14. Intellectual Property

Tigrister and all related materials, including but not limited to the software, source code, documentation, graphics, user interface, and trademarks, are the exclusive intellectual property of Mesut Yakut and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved.

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding Tigrister, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such feedback into the software without any obligation to you.

15. Data and Privacy

Your use of Tigrister is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your information. By using Tigrister or creating an account, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

Tigrister SE, Tigrister PRO, and the Tigrister CLI do not send telemetry or analytics to our servers during normal use. License validation and trial activation for Tigrister PRO are performed against our license server and transmit only the information required to verify your license or enforce trial limits.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

Tigrister is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that defects will be corrected. You use the software at your own risk.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, business interruption, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of Tigrister, regardless of whether such damages are based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and regardless of whether we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Tigrister is a client-side tool that you operate against systems of your choice. You are solely responsible for the way you use it and for any consequences of that use, including any damage, outage, data loss, or other harm to your own systems or to any third-party systems caused by the activity you perform through Tigrister.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Tigrister PRO shall not exceed the amount you actually paid us for Tigrister PRO in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Tigrister SE and the Tigrister CLI are provided free of charge. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we have no liability whatsoever in connection with your use of Tigrister SE or the Tigrister CLI.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mesut Yakut and any officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of Tigrister, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of any third party.

19. Software Updates

We may release updates to Tigrister from time to time. These updates may include bug fixes, new features, security improvements, or changes to existing functionality. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the software at any time, with or without notice. Continued use of the software after an update constitutes acceptance of that update.

20. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your license, account, and access to Tigrister if you violate these terms or any applicable law. Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the software and delete all copies in your possession. Any outstanding subscription fees remain due, and any sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 14, 16, 17, 18, 22, and 23) will remain in effect.

21. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, government actions, labor disputes, power or internet outages, telecommunications failures, or acts or failures of third-party service providers, including our payment provider, our email delivery provider, and our cloud infrastructure providers.

22. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply to you under the laws of your place of residence.

23. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Tigrister shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached within a reasonable time, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Turkey (İstanbul Mahkemeleri ve İcra Daireleri) shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

24. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these terms, including all rights and obligations, to any third party — for example, in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or change of ownership — without your consent. In such cases, these terms will continue to apply under the new ownership.

25. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

26. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect when published on this page. For material changes that affect paying customers, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you — for example, by email or via the customer portal — before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Tigrister after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

27. Acknowledgment

By using Tigrister, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the software.
